Text Block Widget allows you to quickly add formatted text to webpages in a visually pleasing format.
Text Block
Widget allows you to quickly add formatted text to webpages in a visually pleasing format. Options include formatting the text in a single row or multiple rows with an optional clickable button, all without requiring that you generate the underlying HTML code.
To add the widget, click on a Text Block Widget icon and select the layout you want to use from the dropdown preview.
Once the widget is selected, it is added to the page and displayed on the left side the page editor in the list of "Your Widgets"
Click the Edit button to modify the content.
Title field is the name you want to give the widget.
The "show title" toggle controls the display of the title on the web page.
Wrapper class -is a techie term for how the content will be displayed.
Select if you want the content size to be limited by its parent container, or stretched to the full-screen width.
Background Color allows the selection of the background color around the Text Block.
Insert the text or HTML in the Content dialog.
Select the number of columns you want the text block to render when the web page is displayed.
Optionally, type a button caption and URL link to allow site visitors to click on a link button displayed neat the web page text.
The "show tbutton" toggle controls the display of the button on the web page.
Preview the page before saving by clicking on the “Live Preview”. Here is a sample preview of the page with the Text Block widget.
Don’t forget to click the Save button.
